I realize that I haven’t posted anything for some time. It doesn’t mean I haven’t been busy though! While it would be hard for me to play catch up, I can however show you a little project of my own. I have been on the hunt for kitchen rugs and have not been able to find anything that I was crazy about. And with my fridge sticking out further than my cabinets it became a challenge to find a rug that fit the space well. It became more and more obvious that I was needing two small rugs instead of one large. The problem? I was only finding large rugs that I liked. The solution? Cut up the large rug into the two smaller rugs! Sometimes you just have to think outside the box!

This sibling set just happened to have birthdays near each other. I loved having the opportunity to make something special for them to wear on their special days.

Couldn’t send my girlie back to school without freshening up her backpack. Last year she wanted purple and all I could find, without paying beaucoup bucks, was a generic one that had some sort of camping logo on it. Blah blah for a girlie girl. My solution? Cover it up! Luci didn’t really care what I did so this is what I decided to surprise her with. What do you think?

Here are a few sets recently put together. I love the summer sampling for the girl and the strength of patterns for the boy. Several years in, I still enjoy making these little sets. You can’t go wrong when form meets function!

It never hurts to ask! A friend needed gifts for a variety of occasions and here they are! I haven’t been sewing aprons lately, but happened to mention to her an apron I’ve purchased at Hobby Lobby both for Luci, as well as for birthday gifts for her school friends. I’m not really in the embroidery business, but these were so easy to customize. This was also the first time I’d had a request for a big bro/little sis matching tee set. So cute!

People just seem to keep having babies! Good thing… the world needs a little more love and cuteness. Here’s a peek at some things I’ve been making lately.
